⭐ Service in George

Why rate service at all?

Because George is a small town with a long memory. What gets noticed gets repeated — and the businesses who go the extra mile deserve to be the ones everybody hears about.

A rating is a thank-you, not a weapon

Most people only leave a review when they're cross. That gives an unfair picture of a town full of families who work hard for their customers. If someone looked after you well, say so — it takes thirty seconds and it lands with a real person.

Three ways to speak up

  • Report good business. Stars and a few words on a business's page. Public, signed with your Hartsmense account, and the business is told about it.
  • Report a problem. Private. Only the admin team sees it. We take it up with the business ourselves.
  • Say nothing. Always an option — but then nothing changes for the next person in the queue.

What we do with reports

Every report is read by the admin team. We contact the business, give them a fair chance to put it right, and keep a record. Where reports pile up unresolved over a rolling six-month window, a business can lose its GeorgeBookings accreditation until it's sorted out. Accreditation is a promise to the town, not a badge you buy.

Fair to the business too

Reports are never published anonymously against a business, and no one is judged on a single bad day. A business owner can see the good-business reports on their own listing and can ask for a review to be looked at — but they can never edit your words or your stars.
