7 Minute Microwave Cake

A quick chocolate cake made in the microwave with simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup oil
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 heaped tbsp cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
Method
- Mix all the ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased microwave-safe ring tin.
- Microwave on high for 7 minutes.
- Cook for 1 minute longer if needed.
- Allow the cake to cool.
- Finish with chocolate icing.
