Celebrate spring at the Annual Spring Orchid Show, hosted by the Orchid Society of the Southern Cape in George from Thursday, 17 September to Saturday, 19 September 2026. Visitors can enjoy beautiful orchid displays created by local growers, discover different varieties and get practical advice from experienced orchid enthusiasts. There will also be daily potting demonstrations, where visitors can learn more about caring for and successfully growing orchids at home. Looking to add something special to your collection? A selection of orchid plants will be available to purchase during the show. The show takes place at the Presbyterian Church Hall, 8 Caledon Street, George, with nearby parking available at the George Library.
