The Greater Mossel Bay Community Policing Forums are joining forces to host an exciting community kaskar race designed to bring residents together through fun, teamwork and community pride. The Kaskar Show Parade takes place at Harry Giddy Park on Friday, 28 August 2026, from 18:00 to 22:00. The main Kaskar Race takes place in Marsh Street on Saturday, 29 August 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00. Market stalls will be available at Harry Giddy Park on Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00. Get building and enter your kaskar, sponsor a child or team, or donate and sponsor the event. Sponsors may display their advertisements free of charge. The participating organisations are Mossel Bay CPF, Da Gamaskop CPF, Kwanonqaba CPF and Great Brak River CPF.
