The Johannesburg Children's Choir has been selected to compete in the Cantamus National Choir Competition in George from 7–10 August – a remarkable opportunity for these talented young singers to represent Johannesburg on a national stage. Although the choir was only established in 2025, they have already built an impressive list of achievements. They have performed in operas, won awards at the Con Spirito National Eisteddfod, performed Carmina Burana alongside the Johannesburg Symphony Choir, and even shared the stage with Jo Black. Now they have the chance to take the next exciting step in their journey—but they need our support to get there. The choir is raising R85,000 to cover travel and participation costs. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings these children one step closer to making their dream a reality.
